Who are we?

Wok This Way (Wok This Way ApS, CVR no. 39148099, Nørregade 36, 8000 Aarhus C) is the data controller for the personal data we process about you. If you have any questions, you can contact us at kundeservice@wokthisway.dk.

What data do we collect, and why?

Wok Club and marketing

When you sign up for the Wok Club, we process the information you give us yourself: name, email address, mobile number (if you want SMS offers), birthday (day and month, if you want a birthday offer) and your preferred restaurant. We only use the information to send you the news, offers and benefits you have consented to, by email and/or SMS. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and we store documentation of the consent (time and consent text). You can withdraw your consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.

Catering enquiries

If you send a catering enquiry, we process your contact details and the information about your event in order to give you a quote (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Cookies and statistics

We use cookies for operation, statistics and marketing. You control your own cookie choices through the cookie banner, and you can always change them again. See the full overview in the banner under Cookie settings.

Who do we share information with?

We only share your information with data processors who help us run the business: our hosting provider, our email and SMS platform (Brevo) and our ordering system (OnlinePOS). The data processors only process the information on our instructions. We never sell your information.

How long do we keep the information?

Wok Club data is stored for as long as you are signed up, and is deleted no later than 12 months after you unsubscribe (documentation of consent is however kept for up to 2 years after the last mailing, to meet documentation requirements). Catering enquiries are kept for up to 2 years after completion.

Your rights

You have the right of access to, rectification of and erasure of your data, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent. Contact us at kundeservice@wokthisway.dk, and we will help you. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency via datatilsynet.dk.
